PureTab is a lightweight Chrome extension and landing website. It provides a simple new tab page with a clock, focus line, to-dos, search engine picker, and daily wallpaper.
Data Collection
PureTab does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. All user data (such as your focus text, to-do list, and preferences) is stored locally in your browser using the chrome.storage API. This data never leaves your device.
Wallpapers
Daily wallpapers are fetched via a serverless proxy from Unsplash. No personal information is sent to Unsplash. Only the selected topic (e.g., nature, city, space) is used to request an image.
No Accounts Required
PureTab does not require an account, login, or any authentication. All features are available immediately after installation.
No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties. There is no advertising, analytics, or tracking built into the extension.
